What is Fleet Numbering / Fleet ID?
Fleet Numbering and Fleet ID are generic terms that we use to explain the process of attaching a specific identification code or badge to your buckets and attachments. This is usually done through welding.
A custom identification code is a specific set of numbers and letters, or a personal badge, that is attached to your equipment that tells you that that bucket belongs to you. Why is this important? It makes identifying, collecting and returning the equipment that belongs to you or your company, to your site much quicker and easier. This improves your efficiency of collecting your excavator and buckets from a rental or if you're working on a site with multiple other machines and operators.
These custom codes allow you to check at first glance which buckets belong to you so that you can head back out to work or send it straight on to another rental without having to deal with the potential issue of buckets that don't fit your machine or buckets that are in worse condition than yours - if you've experience this before, you'll know it's a big headache!
What custom code should I use?
We have many customers that always have a custom code or badge welded onto their Rhinox Buckets and Attachments. For badges, we can laser cut a plate that is tack welded to your product. This will usually have information on like your company name or what machine it is designed to fit. When welding custom codes, our customers usually ask for a code that helps identify which machine the bucket fits, numbers or letters that are easily identifiable by the company such as their name or initials or a code that matches numbers that they have assigned to their attachments for easy management when kept in storage.
Both, laser cut badges and welded codes, are completely customisable by you so that you can decide what suits you or your company best. This service will incur a small manufacturing time of 5-10 Working Days before we can dispatch.
Do you want to make your Excavator Buckets and Attachments stand out even more? We can paint them a colour of your choosing, from blue to match your company logo or orange to orange to match your machine.
