Utility Buckets / Uni-tusk Buckets
The Rhinox uni-tusk blade has been designed as a preventative measure to improve the safety of your utility jobs!
In the U.S. alone, an underground cable strike occurs every 1-2 minutes, leading to 400,000 to 800,000 incidents annually. Excavator bucket teeth are a leading cause of these strikes, often piercing cables during digging. Rhinox developed the uni-tusk blade to be used instead of teeth, with the rounded edges specifically designed to deflect away from cables while also reducing wear on your bucket edges.
Made from durable cast steel, the Rhinox uni-tusk is a bolt-on cutting edge, offering both safety and longevity for your excavator buckets. The Rhinox uni-tusk is available for 3,000 to 8,000 lbs excavators in 9” or 12” wide. You can purchase a uni-tusk pre-installed to your bucket or as a standalone blade option.
Disclaimer: The uni-tusk blade is intended as a preventative tool and should only be used after CAT scanning for cables and checking for other utility lines.
